The memory of hindrance given by bandh is crystal clearly stored in a part of my brain. When I remember that day I hate it more. Year 2008, when I was in grade 10 (SLC year), during my Sent-up examination there was bandh. So, I had to walk like some 8-10 kilometers from my school to the examination centre. It was hell tiring and extremely exhausting but was choice less.
It is 8:34 in the morning and I haven’t had my breakfast yet. Let alone breakfast, my morning tea is still to drink. And the first thing I heard in the morning glory is Nepal Bandh (Nepal Closure). The day before yesterday was bandh, yesterday was not and today is bandh. The ‘bandh’ trend is the most popular Nepal. Provided that now Nepal is a democratic country, people are making sure it is used in the most proper manner. Calling for bandh, as and when someone wished is the only right Nepalese think is their priority.
Additionally, last year the political parties signed up for the year 2011as Bandh free year. It was the oldest trick in a book! They tricked, all of us making us to believe in their lie. It is like the students are being taught a new subject, Bandh subject except that there is no teacher to teach and no curriculum in particular. More bandhs in the register book than the total attendance. It cannot be said but in some years to come, Nepal may be popular for the trend of Bandhs….
Who knows but Nepal could get The Gunnies Book of World Record for having a new trend?
